Sammie earned a CKC Novice Trick title at 3.5 months old, followed by an AKC Novice Trick dog title, effortlessly putting her desire to please and her strong food drive to work. She tried the show ring shortly after and liked it, sweeping Best Baby Puppy in Show all three shows at the Wildwood KC.
The day she turned 6 months old, she won Best of Winners for 3 pts from the Junior Puppy class at Champlain. She finished her Championship the following weekend at Cobequid with Best of Winners and Best Opposite over a Special, along with a Best Puppy in Show. She swept all 4 Puppy Group and began her Specials career with 2 Best Opposite wins over a Special.
She finished her ASCA championship with 4 major wins in limited showing.
